Home Improvement ServicesReplacement Siding | Replacement Roofing | Replacement WindowsWhat Can I expect from the installation process? Once the estimator leaves your home, his work really begins. Specific installation drawings are made and those drawings, any photos and all the other paperwork are turned into our contract-processing department for review. Once everything is 100% it is sent down to the installation department where they will begin to schedule the re-measure. As weather and the schedule allows, the service manager will come out and remeasure, to ensure proper fit and materials. We believe in the old axiom “ measure twice, cut once”. Then the materials list is double-checked and materials ordered. All of our windows are custom made specifically for each opening. All siding and roofing is ordered for your job. We don’t believe in overcharging to cover for excessive wasted materials or excessive over stock storage space. Depending on the materials it many take up to a few weeks for the delivery. Some materials may be drop shipped right to the job site a couple days ahead of the projected installation date. Weather and jobs on the schedule always play a big part in when your job will start. Every job is different and once in awhile doing things right may take a little longer than expected but we will do the best to give an approximate schedule date. Please understand that the house we are working on at the time is the most important house on the schedule. Just as you wouldn’t want us to rush your installation to go onto the next job we wouldn’t do it to the people before you. Many of our crews have worked for us for over 15 years! They are the professionals on site. Their work orders come directly from your contract and our measures but if you have any questions please feel free to give us a call. Once the job is complete please make arrangements to walk the job with the foreman. He may have final paperwork for you and you can just give him the completion to take to the office. The following would be some of the things you can do to make the installation go smoother. All remodeling involves some debris. An area should be secured close to where the work is for the disposal of the debris. A lot of the work is done on the outside of the home. Ladders may need to be placed and walk spaces near the side of the home. Care will be taken but sensitive plants and shrubs should be boxed or transplanted. Window and siding work involves work to the walls themselves. Wall hangings, glass shelving and everything else should be temporarily removed.
