Restoration Services > Insurance RestorationInsurance Restoration | Masonite Hardboard Siding Class Action SettlementThere has been an increase in severe storm weather in our region of the country over the past few years. We have experienced hailstorms, tornados, and hurricanes damaging our property and homes. We at Four Seasons Home Improvement Company have developed a processing department dedicated to handling insurance restoration work. We have an excellent communication system with all the major insurance carrier property adjusters in the region. This allows us to provide a quality customer service experience for our insurance restoration customers. Our staff will guide you through the claims process and submit all the necessary paperwork to your insurance company, while always acting as your advocate. You will be informed of all activities, and be in control of any decision making for your property. The entire process will be according to the insurance industry standards, but we will be the advantage that you need to be treated fairly. The Installation Department of Four Seasons will perform all of your repairs with the same quality and warranty that we extend to our remodeling projects. Great customer service and quality work is our goal for your experience with our company. The Claims Process Promptly report: The first step in filing a claim after a fire or natural disaster is to contact your home insurance agent or company. You need to find out the extent of your coverage for the type of loss you have experienced. The following is a list of common insurance carriers and their contact numbers:
Survey the damage: Inspect the damage to your property and make a list of the items that you want the insurance company to consider as a loss. Take pictures of the physical damage to the property and any contents that were damaged. Do not throw anything away until the insurance adjuster has witnessed its condition. Prepare receipts or an estimate of the value of lost items. Make reasonable temporary repairs You should make any temporary repairs necessary to protect and prevent further damage to the property. Keep all receipts for the costs of the temporary repairs. The costs for these measures will be considered as part of your total claim. Contact Four Seasons The advice of "get three estimates" does not apply for your best interest in resolving an insurance claim. The collecting of estimates simply gives your insurance company the opportunity to pay the least expensive solution, and not for your choice of contractor. If you want choice... Interview the contractors. Choose one to represent your best interests at the insurance adjuster's inspection, and they will come to an agreement on the cost of the work. You can get the insurance company to pay for your choice of contractor... if you do not give up the privilege, by working the estimate game.
